Areas of Focus

Areas of Focus

The National Spiritual Assembly has three main areas of focus for the third year of the current Five Year Plan (175-176 B.E.). They are as follows:

Accelerating the pace of systematic endeavour e.g. striving to bring programmes of growth to the stage of intensity and beyond

Aiming to have as many clusters (at least 17 clusters) at or beyond the second milestone (intensive programme of growth) by Ridván 2019 by nurturing “endeavours undertaken by believers across the cluster as their circumstances permit” and at the same time fostering “community-building efforts in small settings of heightened receptivity” through close collaboration with the Counsellors, the Regional Bahá'í Councils and Local Spiritual Assemblies.

Spiritual health

Aiming to foster the spiritual health of our community, to enhance the devotional character of the community by laying the spiritual foundations of future Houses of Worship through hosting of devotional meetings in more and more homes, to strive for universal participation, love and unity.

Fund education and development

Aiming to have sufficient funds for the material needs of the Faith especially the acceleration of expansion and consolidation by making administrative operational adjustments to better support the flow of funds, as well as inviting the generality of the friends to consider afresh the responsibility of all believers to support the work of the Faith through their own means and manage their financial affairs in the light of the teachings (e.g. coherent material/spiritual lives).
