The National Spiritual Assembly wrote to all the believers in Aotearoa on 1 December 2021 with guidance, based on spiritual principles, regarding issues such as managing community activities under the “Traffic Light” system and our duty as Bahá’ís to cooperate with measures taken by the public health authorities. Two enclosures, provided below, accompany the National Assembly’s letter. The first is a three-page compilation of selected messages of the Universal House of Justice, related to the pandemic. (Key extracts from this compilation are included in the National Assembly’s letter.) The second enclosure is a letter of the Universal House of Justice on 29 December 1988 about freedom and responsibility, which the National Assembly recommended as a resource for additional study.
