Online space offers opportunity to study Books 7 and 8

The Regional Institute Board for the North Island made this announcement in an email of 22 March 2021.

The North Island Regional Institute Board is delighted to be launching an online space to advance the study of some of the higher Ruhi courses. While ideally suited to individual participants, this space is also designed to bring together friends who may be able to help shape and deliver higher courses within their own communities.

Studying the units of Book 8 in this historic year of the one-hundredth anniversary of the Ascension of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá and of the inauguration of the Administrative Order is a very fitting way to honour the Beloved Master and Centre of the Covenant and deepen our love and understanding of what He achieved and set in motion.

The Covenant of Bahá’u’lláh is specifically referred to by Shoghi Effendi as the means of directing and canalising the spiritual forces released by Bahá'u'lláh's Revelation in this world, and to “insure their harmonious and continuous operation after His ascension”. He further stated the purpose of Bahá’u’lláh's covenant is to preserve the Faith's influence and integrity, to protect its unity, and to stimulate its growth around the planet.

A Book 7 study is also available. Book 7 is dedicated to an act of service crucial to the functioning of the training institute itself.

The launch date for this online space is 3 May. Options include study during the day/evening (depending on the responses), and books will be offered throughout the year according to the school terms. Please refer to the registration form below for more details.
