Change in membership of the Continental Board of Counsellors in Europe
The Universal House of Justice has announced a change in the membership of the Continental Board of Counsellors in Europe. For the Bahá'í community in New Zealand, this update has relevance, given our focus on a pioneering goal in Eastern Europe, specifically the Czech Republic.
Below is the notice from the Universal House of Justice, which is also attached as a PDF for your reference.

For compelling personal reasons, Dr. Aistė Elijio has asked to be relieved of her responsibilities as a member of the Continental Board of Counsellors in Europe. We have, with much regret, assented to her request. Dr. Elijio has earned our profound gratitude for the contributions she has made to the work of the Faith as a Counsellor, and we pray for divine confirmations to surround her as she continues her valuable labours in other fields of service to the Cause.
To fill the vacancy thus created, we announce the appointment of Mrs. Ana Maria Marian of Romania to the membership of the Continental Board of Counsellors in Europe for the remainder of the present term.
