Apply now: ISGP Seminar for Graduates and Young Professionals 2026-27
Young Bahá’í university graduates and professionals from New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific are warmly invited to consider participating in the next graduate seminar offered by the Institute for Studies in Global Prosperity (ISGP).
Entitled “Discourse and Social Transformation: Achieving Coherence”, the seminar will be held at the Yerrinbool Bahá’í Centre of Learning in New South Wales, Australia, from 27 December 2026 to 7 January 2027.
The seminar provides a space for young adults to explore how they can contribute meaningfully to the betterment of society through their academic studies, professional lives and other spheres of social action. In particular, it seeks to strengthen participants’ capacity to examine and analyse society and the forces acting upon it, and to draw upon relevant aspects of the Bahá’í teachings in their academic and professional fields and in the other social spaces in which they participate.
ISGP was founded in 1999 in association with the Bahá’í International Community and works to build capacity in individuals, groups and institutions to contribute to prevalent discourses concerned with the betterment of society. Its approach draws upon science and religion as complementary systems of knowledge and practice, creating environments in which participants can study, reflect, consult and learn from experience.
Who is the seminar for?
The seminar is open to young adults who have completed an undergraduate degree and are considering graduate study, are already undertaking graduate studies, or are in the early stages of their professional careers or other forms of service to humanity. Very recent graduates are welcome to apply, although the organisers note that some experience in their field of work or study can be beneficial before participating.
