Changes to Auxiliary Board for North Island

Changes to Auxiliary Board for North Island

The Continental Board of Counsellors for Australasia announced a change in the membership of the Auxiliary Board, effective from 27 December 2018. The National Assembly extends heartfelt appreciation to the outgoing Board member, Ms Rebeccah Hibbert, for years of dedicated service, and very best wishes to the newly appointed member, Ms Leyla Neilsen.

Ms. Leyla Neilsen will serve as an Auxiliary Board member for Propagation serving the North Island of New Zealand for the duration of the current term, concluding on the Day of the Covenant in 2021.

The Continental Board of Counsellors wrote “Ms Rebeccah Hibbert, who has earned our abiding gratitude for her self-sacrificing and devoted contributions to the progress of the Cause, has been released from service as an Auxiliary Board member due to personal circumstances.”

The New Zealand Bahá’í community offers its wholehearted love, support and appreciation to both of these dear souls whose past, present and future contributions to the progress of the Cause in Aotearoa earn our collective debt of gratitude.
