Twin Holy Days in the South Island

There was a diversity of celebrations held for the Twin Holy Days in the South Island with many focusing on artistic activities and performances.

In Tasman (Te Tau Ihu cluster), 75 people came to a Holy Day celebration. In Christchurch (Canterbury cluster), the Birth of the Báb was a multi-cultural celebration with a number of groups performing cultural music and dance items to a large and appreciative audience. The Birth of Bahá'u'lláh was focused on families and children, and included a comedic play, a lolly scramble, outdoor games and art activities. In Invercargill, the community invited various cultural groups to their celebration, with one guest posting the event on Facebook with the words "Thoughts of love are constructive of brotherhood, peace, friendship, happiness and unity."
