The five members appointed by the International Board of Trustees of Huqúqu’lláh are:

  • Mrs. Soheyla Bolouri (Tonga)

  • Dr. Nadeem Hamadani (New Zealand)

  • Mrs. Marcael Ttbang Jamison (Hawaiian Islands)

  • Mrs. Fuataiofetaeaolelei Kava (American Samoa)

  • Mrs. Leuta Tuiletufuga (Samoa)

The International Board of Trustees of Huqúqu’lláh expressed heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Kayhan Khadem and Dr. Murray Skeaff who rendered devoted services as members of the institution of Ḥuqúqu’lláh and have now been relieved of their duties as Deputy Trustees. The National Spiritual Assembly also wishes to convey its deep gratitude for the valuable work they have done to invigorate the Institution of Huqúqu’lláh in this country.

In its letter announcing these appointments, the International Board of Trustees of Huqúqu’lláh shared the following regarding the functions of the Board of Trustees:

The primary function of a Board of Trustees is to educate the friends on the spiritual significance of the mighty law of Ḥuqúqu’lláh, enabling them to better appreciate that obedience to this law is “bound to attract divine confirmations, heavenly blessings and incalculable favours, and to promote the manifold interests of the International Bahá’í Community”. Appointing suitable Representatives and nurturing them to assist the Board in undertaking this task will be a vital element of this effort.

Appended to this letter is information about making contributions to Huqúqu’lláh.

The National Spiritual Assembly offers its wholehearted assurance of support and appreciation for the past and future services provided by the Board to the Bahá’í community in Aotearoa.

Loving Bahá’í greetings,
National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of New Zealand
