South Island summer initiative orientation

South Island summer initiative orientation

“Nau mai! Haere mai!” — says the Regional Institute Board for the South Island, announcing the summer initiative orientation to be held 4-8 January, which is open to all.

The event will be held at Camp Iona in Herbert. Register using the registration form or email rib-south@bahai.org.nz.

The orientation will be valuable for individuals and families who are wanting to gain more experience with:

  • Understanding the importance of the Bahá’í conception of spiritual and social transformation and the significant role education has in the work of community transformation.

  • Strengthening and practicing their knowledge, skills and capacities to encourage more and more souls to benefit from the educational programmes offered by the training institute.

At the end of the orientation, participants are encouraged to commit their time in whatever way possible to put into action in their own community the knowledge gained, by establishing a core activity over the summer and learning to sustain this with ongoing support.

If this is something you feel you would benefit from and you’re willing to dedicate and sacrifice some of your time during the summer period to advance the Cause of Bahá’u’lláh in the South Island, then the Institute Board warmly encourages you to attend
