Resumption of 'The Bahá’í World' books
The Universal House of Justice has announced the resumption of The Bahá’í World publication in hard copy. This beloved series, which began in 1926, has provided a unique record of the worldwide Bahá’í community’s development and its efforts toward the unfoldment of Baha’u’llah’s vision for humanity. After a hiatus since 2006, the forthcoming volume marks the 35th in the series and covers the years 2006 to 2021.
As envisioned by the beloved Guardian, Shoghi Effendi, The Bahá’í World volumes are intended to inspire a broad audience, including students, scholars, and the general public. These publications capture the history, achievements, and transformative impact of Bahá’u’lláh’s Revelation, highlighting the purpose and society-building focus of the Bahá’í Faith.
This newest edition is a richly illustrated book that includes photographs, works of art by Bahá’ís worldwide, and an “In Memoriam” section honouring individuals who have rendered distinguished service at the international level. Bound in cloth and spanning 455 pages, the volume will be made available for purchase from the Bahá’í Bookshop in due course, with complimentary copies sent initially to National Spiritual Assemblies.
