Newly redesigned enrolment forms now available

The National Assembly is happy to announce that newly redesigned enrolment forms are now available from the National Office. These forms have been thoughtfully crafted with wording in Te Reo Māori and English. In addition to the individual enrolment form, which is bilingual, there are also enrolment forms for groups of individuals, which will allow whānau and other natural groupings to enrol together. The enrolment form for a group or family has two versions - one in Te Reo Māori and one in English.

As there are still many reaffirmation forms in the previous style available for young persons from Bahá'í families to use upon attaining the age of 15 years and prior to reaching the age of 16, these have not been redesigned.

All Bahá’í communities will soon receive a pack containing the various forms and should feel free to request any particular versions when supplies run low, as all believers should have ready access to these.

“Those who declare themselves as Bahá’ís should become enchanted with the beauty of the teachings, and touched by the love of Bahá’u’lláh. The declarants need not know all the proofs, history, laws, and principles of the Faith, but in the process of declaring themselves they must, in addition to catching the spark of faith, become basically informed about the Central Figures of the Faith, as well as the existence of laws they must follow and an administration they must obey.”

(Universal House of Justice - from a letter to all National Spiritual Assemblies, 13 July 1964)

To request copies of the new forms, please contact your Local Spiritual Assembly or the Bahá'í National Office at nationaloffice@bahai.org.nz (Ph. 09 522 4123). These are available at no cost to all friends.

The section in Chapter 5 of the Guidelines for Local Spiritual Asemblies ‘Declaration of Faith and Enrolment’ has also been updated.
