Supreme Body's message on family life and marriage

As we recently received the blessings of ushering in a new year with the joyful celebrations of Naw-Rúz, the Bahá’ís of the world were also blessed to receive a message from the Universal House of Justice, dated 19 March 2025.

This important message on the theme of 'Family Life and Marriage' offers guidance and encouragement for the strengthening of the family unit, a cornerstone of both individual and collective wellbeing. The letter reminds us of the sacredness of these relationships, their role in nurturing love and unity, and their impact on the broader community. It is a timely reflection for this season of spiritual renewal.

The National Spiritual Assembly shared the message by email on 21 March, encouraging the friends to gather together to read and reflect on this profound message.

To all the friends in Aotearoa

Tēnā koutou katoa! Ngā mihi aroha!

As the year 182 B.E. dawns, we share with you a special message from the Universal House of Justice that explores Bahá’í conceptions of family and how we are cultivating a new pattern of family life.

We lovingly invite each individual to reflect on this profound message. Given its nature, we especially encourage members of families to read and reflect on it together. In addition, you may find it useful to reflect on it in wider settings, such as devotional meetings, groups of families consultations, and community gatherings, where its broader implications for the Bahá’í community and wider society can be considered.

 Ngā mihi
