2019 Riḍván Message

Each year on the first day of Ridván—which generally falls on 20 or 21 April—the Universal House of Justice addresses a letter to the worldwide Bahá’í community, known as the Riḍván message. These letters touch on many subjects, including the growth and vibrancy of the Bahá’í community, its efforts to contribute to the life of society, and the progress of specific projects and plans.

Race Unity Hui and Speech Awards

The annual Race Unity Speech Awards were initiated by the New Zealand Bahá’í Community in 2001 in support of Race Relations Day (21 March). The speech topic this year is “Speaking for Justice, Working for Unity”. At the national level, a Race Unity Hui is being run in conjunction with the National Finals of the Speech Awards on 11 May 2019 in Auckland.
