Three new releases available now from bookstore
The New Zealand Bahá’í bookstore (BDS) recently added these three uplifting works to their stock.
The Exalted One CD
The Exalted One was created in honour of the Bicentenary of the Birth of the Báb. The 11 songs on the album set the prayers and writings of the Báb to music with piano, cello, guitar, tiple, cuatro (South American instruments) and voice. The cover has a beautiful gold laser cut rendering inspired by the gate leading to the Shrine of the Báb. The album includes a short written introduction to the Life and Mission of the Báb.
Each CD comes with a unique album download code inside the package.

The Primal Point
The Dispensation of the Báb began quietly with a profound conversation one May night in the year 1844, unattended by all save a single listener. The impact of that momentous announcement has since reverberated through a turbulent humanity, largely ignorant of its source, for a century and a half. Yet it is a world that is growing increasingly aware of the global Bahá’í community that has slowly taken shape following the Báb’s announcement.
The purpose of this present anthology marking the bicentenary of the Báb’s birth is to collect together some of the many tributes and testimonials to the Báb that capture, not so much the chronological details of His earthly life, but rather the importance of His station and the impact of His Revelation.

My Book of Readings - What can I read when...?
This book for children aged approximately 5 to 10 years gives suggestions for suitable readings for particular occasions.
For example:
"What can I read when… I wake up?”
"What can I read when… I need help?”
On each page there are pictures to colour so that the child can make the book unique.
This book is ideal as a gift for the members of a children's class.
