Auxiliary Board members meet with Counsellor

The liaison Counsellor for New Zealand, Ms Tessa Scrine, met with the New Zealand contingent of Auxiliary Board members on Friday 31 January 2020 at the Bahá’í Education Centre in Manurewa, Auckland.

Our beloved Counsellor Scrine wrote: “This country is blessed with the calibre of its Auxiliaries and it’s a joy to accompany them. When they come together, it’s extraordinary.”

She photographed the Auxiliary Board members outside the Education Centre while they were enjoying an alfresco dinner break “during an intense day/night long meeting today to reflect on what we’ve learnt in some key areas in New Zealand over the past two cycles and identify objects of learning for coming cycles, as well as sharing some key insights/developments from the Board of Counsellors meeting.”

The photograph, taken by Counsellor Scrine, shows the building in Rowandale Avenue that has been well used as an education centre for nearly two decades, developed by the Manukau Spiritual Assembly which was amalgamated into the Auckland (supercity) Spiritual Assembly in 2011. The building is currently enjoying a renaissance as a facility that is assisting in the formalising of the training institute in this Manurewa neighbourhood where the intensity of community-building activities is steadily increasing.
