Tanna House of Worship dedication will stream live

This article is based on an email message sent on behalf of the National Spiritual Assembly to all communities on 3 November 2021.

We joyfully share with you a link for watching a live stream of the inauguration of the local House of Worship in Tanna cluster, Vanuatu. The occasion will be held on Saturday 13 November at 10.30 a.m. New Zealand time (i.e. 8.30 a.m. in Vanuatu, on the same day). The link is:

In response to an invitation from the National Spiritual Assembly of Vanuatu to all National Assemblies throughout the Pacific region, the New Zealand National Assembly sent a message of best wishes for the occasion (as attached). We understand that it will be read on the day.

The establishment of local Houses of Worship on Tanna island and in four other localities around the world was announced by the Universal House of Justice at Ridván 2012.

The Mashriqu’l-Adhkár was described by ‘Abdu'l-Bahá as “one of the most vital institutions of the world” and Tanna has been blessed to receive the first such local institution in the Pacific region. This is clearly an auspicious time for the friends in Aotearoa to pray for blessings upon our Pacific whānau in Vanuatu.
