Registration opens for ISGP seminars in February 2023
The ISGP Coordination team invites university students to register for the next undergraduate seminars of the Institute for Studies in Global Prosperity (ISGP).
We are happy to announce that the next offering of the seminars for university students in Aotearoa New Zealand will be held from 4 to 14 February 2023 at the Waihi Academy. Registrations can be made through the website isgp.bahai.org.nz/registration/
Individuals and their families will note that the seminar dates have been shifted from December to February. This is to allow more tertiary students to participate, especially those who find it difficult to obtain leave from work in December, and to enable participants to begin their study courses and enter the university environment with the concepts and spiritual energy from the seminars fresh in their minds and hearts.
All Bahá’í tertiary students in New Zealand are encouraged to participate in these seminars. The programme can be seen as a fundamental part of their higher education that assists them to reflect and learn from the action they are taking for the betterment of the world, to assume ownership of their education during the crucial years they spend at university, and to acquire the kind of knowledge that will enable them to live fruitful, productive and meaningful lives.
The seminars provide a space in which students enjoy an atmosphere that is at once serious and joyful, educative and uplifting, dynamic and disciplined. They have the opportunity to learn from their peers, to share their struggles and concerns, and to build and strengthen bonds of unity and friendship that help nourish and recharge their spirits each year.
