ISGP Coordination Team writes…

We are happy to announce that the next offering of the seminars for university students in Aotearoa New Zealand will be held from 3-13 February 2024 at Te Whare Akoranga Bahá'í (Centre for Learning) at the Hyde Dunn Property, in Auckland. Registrations can be made through the website via the ‘register’ button at the bottom and will close on the 1st of December 2023.

Individuals and their families will note that the seminar dates have again been shifted from December to February. This is to allow more tertiary students to participate, especially those who find it difficult to obtain leave from work in December, and to enable participants to begin their study courses and enter the university environment with the concepts and spiritual energy from the seminars fresh in their minds and hearts.

Participants display their work.

All Bahá’í tertiary students in New Zealand are encouraged to participate in these seminars. The programme can be seen as a fundamental part of their higher education that assists them to reflect and learn from the action they are taking for the betterment of the world, to assume ownership of their education during the crucial years they spend at university, and to acquire the kind of knowledge that will enable them to live fruitful, productive and meaningful lives.

In addition to study, the seminars provide a space in which students enjoy an atmosphere that is at once serious and joyful, educative and uplifting, dynamic and disciplined. They have the opportunity to learn from their peers, to share their struggles and concerns, and to build and strengthen bonds of unity and friendship that help nourish and recharge their spirits each year.
