Changes to receipting of Ḥuqúqu’lláh payments
Please see below, the important message to the friends in Aotearoa from the Deputy Trustees of Ḥuqúqu’lláh for Polynesia.

Dearly loved friends,
The Board of Deputy Trustees of Ḥuqúqu’lláh for Polynesia sends its love and greetings to each and every one of you dear stalwart believers in Aotearoa. As per advice from the Office of Ḥuqúqu’lláh at the Bahá’í World Centre and approval of the National Spiritual Assembly, the format of acknowledging and receipting the payments of Ḥuqúqu’lláh will be amended.
Effective 1 May 2024 no monthly acknowledgements will be sent, and instead, on behalf of the Universal House of Justice a receipt with a unique number for each payment will be issued and emailed to you. Please note that these receipts cannot be used for tax credit purposes, however at the end of each financial year (31 March or as soon as possible thereafter) a receipt for the total amount that was paid during the year will be issued which can be used for tax purposes, as it will include the details required by Inland Revenue.
To facilitate the implementation of this new procedure, the Office of the Deputy Trustees will email an authorisation form to those friends who have not previously given their consent for their receipts to be sent via email. This form needs to be completed and returned as soon as possible. For those friends who wish to obtain their receipts through the postal service, the Ḥuqúqu’lláh receipts and the end of year IR tax credit receipt will be posted to their address by mail.
For those friends wishing to engage in education on the Mighty Law of Ḥuqúqu’lláh, such as “12 Lessons on Ḥuqúqu’lláh” or Ruhi Book 11 unit 3, please contact your local Ḥuqúqu’lláh representatives and/or institute coordinators. Should this not be feasible you may avail yourself of the opportunity to participate in the next online space to study Ruhi Book 11 unit 3 via Zoom, which will take place at the beginning of May.
